Who I am

I’m Daan Frinking. I improve photos and make walkthrough videos for holiday properties. I decide what happens to the personal data described here. Questions or requests: email me at daan@uplist.studio.

When you get in touch

If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I use your name, your contact details and what you tell me to answer you. The legal basis is that you asked me to take these steps before we might work together.

When you send photos for the free edits

This site has a form. You can send a link to your listing or up to two photos, your email address and, if you like, your name. I use them to make two free edited photos and to email them back to you. The legal basis is that you asked me to do this.

The form carries your request to my inbox through Cloudflare, and a bot check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) runs as soon as the form comes into view. Cloudflare says it processes only the data it needs for that check. Your photos are shrunk in your browser before they are sent, and nothing is stored on the website itself.

I delete your photos and listing link after I’ve sent you your edits.

When I email your business

If I contact you by email about your business, I found your business email address in the public business details of your listing or on your website. I use it only to offer you my service. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in offering my services to businesses.

Reply “stop” and I’ll put you on my do-not-contact list and won’t contact you again.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. It remembers your language choice in your own browser, and nothing about that is sent to me. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short technical logs to keep it running and secure. The only other thing that loads is the bot check on the form, described above.

Who else sees your data

I never sell your data. It passes through the services I work with: Google (email), WhatsApp and Cloudflare (this website, the bot check and the email that carries your request to me).

How long I keep it

Photos and listing links from the form: I delete them after I’ve sent you your edits. Messages: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. Client records: as long as the agreement needs them, and as long as tax law requires. The do-not-contact list: as long as needed to respect your request.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, ask me to limit how I use it, object to how I use it, or get a copy to take elsewhere. Email daan@uplist.studio and I’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your own country.
